About Andie

You might call Andie a bit of a real estate nerd—and she’d likely agree. As a licensed Certified Residential Appraiser, currently pursuing her Certified General license, she is deeply immersed in the nuances of the local market.

Over the last two decades, Andie has navigated the unique challenges of our mountain real estate market, building lasting relationships with local jurisdictions and business partners along the way. She is a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), the Appraisal Institute, the Colorado Association of Tax Appraisers (CATA), and Vail Board of Realtors.

Her journey began in 2001. Just a month after earning her English degree from Truman State University, Andie traded Kansas City for the Valley to chase a lifelong dream of mountain living. She started as an appraisal trainee and, nearly twenty-five years later, serves as the Chief Appraiser for Eagle County.

When she isn’t serving taxpayers, you’ll likely find Andie skiing, hiking, or leaning into her role as a dedicated hockey mom and travel buddy for her husband and two sons.

Why I'm Running

Expertise in a Complex Market

Eagle County’s real estate market is uniquely diverse. I am committed to the constant study of Colorado statutes and evolving appraisal regulations to ensure our office remains beyond reproach. I will prioritize the accuracy of our data—from property and ownership records to precise parcel mapping—because reliable data is the foundation for a fair system.

A Commitment to Fairness, Not Empty Promises

The Assessor’s role is governed by strict state laws, and I will not make political promises that I cannot legally or ethically keep. Instead, I promise equitable valuation. I am running to ensure every property owner is treated fairly under the law and that our processes remain transparent, defensible, and rooted in professional integrity.

Listening to Improve the Process

I believe in a government that listens. I am committed to hearing the concerns of property owners regarding their assessments and using that feedback to continuously improve our internal processes. My goal is to make the assessment cycle more accessible and understandable, ensuring that every resident feels their voice is heard and their concerns are addressed with respect and clarity.
